Parking for National Museum of Scotland

The National Museum of Scotland is actually two museums in one! Formed in 2006 and the result of merging the Museum of Scotland with the Royal Museum, it boasts an outstanding collection of antiquities, artefacts and curios from Scotland's rich past and from around the world. You'll find everything from examples of European art (including works by Picasso) to beautifully-preserved fossils and over 77,000 artefacts from the world of science and technology. With plenty for children to get involved with, it's a fun and fascinating day out for all the family.

Our Edinburgh Castle Terrace car park is ideally positioned for you to be able to enjoy some time at the museum and soak up some other attractions, such as the imposing Edinburgh Castle and the Camera Obscura World of Illusions. The car park is little more than a 10-minute walk from the National Museum so you can take your time.

With archaeological finds, exhibits from the world of Natural History, a wonderful café and an outstanding restaurant, it's easy to spend a whole day at the National Museum of Scotland.
