The Bullring Shopping Centre
Originally built in the 1960s, Birmingham’s flagship shopping destination was rebuilt for the 21st century in the early 2000s. Its history goes all the way back to the original market site dating from the 12th century, when they really did sell bulls here. The Bullring is now one of the UK’s premier shopping destinations, and thanks to the nearby Grand Central car park, you don’t have far to carry those shopping bags, either.
Thinktank Science Museum
Opened in 2001, this award-winning science museum is perfect for family days out. With handy Birmingham parking in a choice of NCP car parks, including Birmingham Londonderry and Birmingham High Street, it’s just a short stroll before you’re through the doors and firing up the kids’ imaginations. .
Take in the best musicals, theatre, comedy and dance at the city’s premier arts venue and cultural hub. The Hippodrome Theatre is best known as the home of the Birmingham Royal Ballet, but is also one of the best loved touring theatres in the country.
