Shoppers and workers love to linger in the Memorial Gardens throughout the day. This is a real haven of peace and tranquillity in the centre of town, and the colourful trees, shrubs and flowers are a delight. The Memorial Gardens were funded in 1921 to commemorate local people who died in the Great War, and they won the Best Park Award category for South and South East in Bloom in 2005 and 2006. Leave the car at the Crawley Parkside NCP car park and enjoy a stroll in this beautiful space.
