Car park entry and exit information
Our car parks use a variety of entry and exit methods depending on where you have booked parking for. Understanding which method is used at the car park you have made a booking for can help make your journey even easier.
In most cases, your booking will allow you to enter and exit the car park once.
You can find the information about your car park's entry and exit method on your booking confirmation email. Take a look at the list below to find out more.
ANPR (Automatic number plate registration)
On arrival at the entry barrier, your number plate will read and a ticket automatically issued. Keep your ticket safe as you will need this on exit.
When leaving the car park, at the exit barrier insert your ticket for your parking to be validated. Once validated, the barrier will raise.
Barcode
When you arrive at the entry barrier, scan your barcode and we'll issue you a ticket. Keep your ticket safe as you will need this when you're leaving the car park.
When leaving, at the exit barrier, insert your ticket so that we can validate your parking. After we have done this we'll raise the barrier.
Credit/debit card
On arrival at the entry barrier, insert the card used to make your booking into the entry column and the barrier will raise.
At the exit, insert your card for your parking to be validated. Once validated, the barrier will raise.
Pay & Display
On arrival, park your vehicle, ensuring you display your booking confirmation on your dashboard as instructed before leaving. Failure to do so may result in a parking charge notice being issued.
When leaving, return to your vehicle within your pre-booked period and leave the car park via a designated exit.
