Held over a weekend in May, Lincoln’s hills and streets are alive with the sounds of spinning pedals, as the Lincoln Grand Prix rolls into town. Favouring two wheels over four, around 1000 professional cyclists, which starts and finishes at Castle Hill. If the inclines weren’t enough, competitors have to navigate other conditions, such as the notorious cobbles along Michaelgate. A superb day out for all the family, you’ll find stalls selling food and drinks, as well as live music to add to the carnival atmosphere.
