Attraction & event parking in Newcastle
Intu Eldon Square
Intu Eldon Square was the biggest indoor shopping area in Britain when it was opened by the Queen in 1977. Today the centre still boasts a great selection of shops, restaurants and cafés, making it a must if you’re heading to Newcastle for an afternoon of retail therapy. As Intu Eldon Square is located in the centre of the city, it’s close to several Newcastle NCP car parks including Newbridge Street and John Dobson Street, so you don’t need to carry heavy shopping too far
Just a short walk from Intu Eldon Square is Monument Mall, another of the city’s central shopping areas. It’s a great place to go if you’re planning on treating yourself to something special. Beat the crowds and go online to pre-book your parking space at our John Dobson Street car park. That way you’re guaranteed a space even when the sales are on.
If you visit either Monument Mall or Intu Eldon Square, there’s a good chance you’ll end up on Northumberland Street as both shopping centres open out onto the thoroughfare. Home to a large number of shops, pubs, banks and eateries, the street is one of the busiest in Newcastle. Parking is at a premium here, so find at our conveniently located John Dobson Street car park.
Newcastle & Northumbria Universities
Both Newcastle and Northumbria Universities attract students and visitors from across the country. If you’re attending an open day at one of these universities, or if you’re visiting for an event, you can find a parking space at our John Dobson Street car park. It's only a short walk from both of the university campuses.
