Attraction & event parking in Bradford
Bradford Industrial Museum
This remarkable museum is appropriately housed in an old spinning mill, one of scores that used to dominate the landscape in and around Bradford. You can see and hear the real mill machinery here and get a real feel for industrial life at the time. Take a ride on a horse-drawn tram and explore a Victorian industrial village when you leave the car at the NCP’s Bradford Southgate car park and take to the cobbles.
Kirkgate Shopping Centre
The Kirkgate Shopping Centre is at the heart of the retail market in Bradford. It’s spread over three storeys and houses familiar chain retailers as well as some independent outlets. You’ll also find the old and hugely popular Kirkgate Market here. Be sure to park at our NCP Bradford Southgate car park for easy access to the nearby shops, cafés and restaurants.
National Media Museum
Bradford’s National Media Museum is devoted to photography, film and TV. Here, visitors are able to explore the history and future of TV and watch favourite films and clips in the BFI Mediatheque, and explore the world of optics by playing around with colours, lenses and light. Park at the NCP’s Bradford Southgate car park and drop in here to see features on Yorkshire’s only IMAX cinema.
The Bradford Interchange
The Bradford Interchange combines a bus and coach station and a mainline railway, and you can get swiftly to London Kings Cross from here as well as other parts of the UK by whichever option you choose. Just leave your car at the Bradford Hall Ings NCP car park, and head off for the day.
University of Bradford
Although Bradford University’s origins go back to the 19th century it only received its Charter in 1966. It has the distinction among universities of being home to the biggest centre for the study of conflict and peace in the world, and is a centre of excellence in international relations.
