Manchester Gt Northern Warehouse 1
Manchester, like so many other cities across Britain, was founded by the Romans when Agricola set up a base camp here in 79 AD. Modern Manchester was born from the flames and thunder of the Industrial Revolution, when Richard Arkwright introduced spinning machines powered by steam which ushered in world-class cotton manufacturing. With the construction of the first railways linking the city to Liverpool, and the Manchester Ship Canal bringing cargo vessels 36 miles inland, wealth poured into Manchester and many of its grandest buildings were built during that period. Today, it’s a cosmopolitan city with world-class cultural venues and fabulous museums – and very limited parking spaces! So parking in Manchester can be a challenge, especially when the city’s many festivals are in full flow.
There are also many shopping outlets and entertainment venues here, and with NCP’s Manchester car park at Gt Northern Warehouse 1 you have the perfect central spot to leave your car when you go sightseeing, shopping or dining.
