Manchester Palace Theatre parking

Parking for Palace Theatre

Formerly known as the Palace Theatre of Varieties, the Palace Theatre first opened in 1891. During its early years, it drew packed houses, with people flocking to see performances by the greats of the time, such as Little Titch, Marie Lloyd and the legendary Charlie Chaplin. Since then, it has undergone many refurbishments and facelifts. While it has retained much of its original charm, its original capacity of 3,675 has been reduced to less than 2000. Today, you’ll find it hosting star-studded musicals and comedy evenings, as well as big-name artists, such as Thom Yorke, Joe Lycett and Brian Conley.
