Princes Street parking

LadyShopper 1The main shopping street in Scotland’s capital, and one of the most spectacular in the country. Princes Street offers a mile of shops overlooked by the Royal Mile and the impressive Edinburgh Castle.

Stores along Princes Street include BHS, Scotland’s largest Boots, H&M, HMV, Debenhams, Marks & Spencer and Topshop. On the east end you’ll find Jenners Department store, an Edinburgh landmark in its own right, now part of the House of Fraser group.

Parking for Princes Street

Driving into Edinburgh, aim for the City Centre, and you’ll find Princes Street below the castle cliffs. The street and those around it does have some traffic restrictions with parts limited to public transport.

We have a number of NCP car parks close to Princes Street, although you cannot pre-book at this time.

  • Make a day of it and park next to Edinburgh Castle, only short walk from Princes Street. This car park will also be available to pre-book during Edinburgh Festival. Watch this space!
  • Our car park close to the Royal Mile, this 297-space car park is a short walk across the North Bridge to Princes Street.
