Directions
Exit the M42 at junction 6 and join the A45, and just follow the signs to the airport. On arrival at the airport follow the signs to Car Park 1.
The maximum height limit for Car Park 1 is 2.15m. Parking bays are 2.9m wide and 4.82m long, so are suitable for most average size vehicles only.
Getting to and from the terminal
Getting to the terminal
Once you have parked your car and have made your way down to the ground floor via the lifts provided, you will see the terminal directly in front of you. All you need to do is walk down the stairs located outside of car park exit and cross the zebra crossing.
Returning to your car after your trip
Once you return back from your holiday and exit the terminal doors, you will see helpful map signage which will help aid you in getting back to your car park.
Simply follow the signage to car park 1 or walk towards Door A. You will need to cross the road opposite door A and walk across the zebra crossing which will locate you to car park 1.
Blue badge holders
There are 30 bays set aside for blue badge holders. If you wish to take your blue badge on holiday with you, then you will first need to go to the NCP customer service desk in the Premium Set Down Car Park, where you’ll be given a permit to display while you’re on your break.
Please remember to bring all the details from your confirmation email, including the reference number, as this allows us to process your permit more quickly.
Once you’ve got your permit, head to Car Park 1, where you will see signage for blue badge holders. All the Blue Badge spaces are conveniently located right next to the pedestrian exit at Car Park 1.
Already Booked?
Upon arrival
When you arrive at Car Park 1, there is no need to press for a ticket. Our ANPR cameras will read your registration number to raise the barriers automatically.
If you are planning to book in advance, please ensure you provide us with the correct registration number at the point of booking. If you have made a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the arrivals procedure.
Should you require any help, please press the assistance button which is located on the entrance column and a member of our customer service team will be happy to assist you.
Once you’ve parked, you’re free to get to the check-in desks and start your holiday, knowing that your vehicle is being looked after by our professional parking team.

Leaving the car park
Once you’re back from your break, leave the terminal building, and head back to the car park.
If you have a booking, we will email you with detailed instructions on the returns procedure.
We have three pay machines in the car park where you can pay by card. Please note, all our pay machines are now cashless. Please have your registration number ready to enter.
Paying before you reach the exit speeds up the process, so you can drive to the exit barrier, which will raise automatically, and get ahead with your journey.
If you wish to pay in the exit lane, please make sure you choose the correct lane for payment. Once you have made the payment, the barrier will raise automatically to allow exit.

None pre-book customers
If you did not pre-book your space with us, you can pay at the pay machines located within the car park or pay at exit. If you pay at the pay machine then simply follow signs to exit and the barrier will automatically raise for you.
