A SaverID is a unique code we’ve provided to validate and activate your company’s discounted parking arrangement. Your company’s ParkPass administrator will be able to provide more information including the SaverID itself.

To enjoy your company’s Saver Deal it’s essential that the SaverID you’ve been given is added to your ParkPass account before entering one of our barrier car parks and before you pay for parking at a pay and display car park.

ParkPass: How to Register

How to add and manage your SaverID

  • Add your SaverID easily during registration or add at a later time
  • Add, change or remove a SaverID to an existing account via the app
  • Go to the menu and select Account, followed by Payment details and select SaverID
  • You can also add a SaverID online if you prefer, visit parkpass.ncp.co.uk and select SaverID

Please note

A limit of two SaverID’s can be held in your app account at any one time. For the first month after registration, your introductory discount will take one of these two SaverID spaces.

ParkPass FAQs

SaverID Frequently asked questions

What features does an app account have over a card account?

An app account will allow you to pay for parking at almost all NCP car parks across the UK (excluding rail and airport sites). This includes many Pay and Display car parks as well as barrier controlled car parks. There are other features like extending parking and session expiry notifications on the app.

A card account will only allow you to pay for parking at our barrier controlled sites and may also give you discounted parking through a Saver ID.

How much does it cost to park using the NCP ParkPass app?

The parking charges when using the app are based on the tariff board for the car park you've chosen. These vary by car park. At many sites, we offer special discounted prices when the app is used to pay for parking. These will be shown on the tariff board in the car park and on ncp.co.uk. You can also add a SaverID to the app if you have one to activate your special Saver Deal rate for parking at designated sites.

At some sites there are different rates for motorbikes and vans. Where these apply you should pay using alternative means e.g. cash or card at the pay machine.

Can I register for an app account if I already have a card account?

Yes, you can. The app has more benefits and features over a card account, however your registration will need to be a new one. You cannot login using the details for your Card account as the system the app uses is different to that used by the card product.

If you have a SaverID, you should add this when you register your new app account.

Can I print my QR code?

Yes, via your online ParkPass account. Login to your account at https://parkpass.ncp.co.uk and select ‘Print QR code’.

From here, select print from your browser menu and your QR will print as shown on the screen.

Alternatively if you take a screenshot of your QR code and email the image to a chosen email address, you can then print your email to your chosen printer.

How do I register for a ParkPass App account if I already use a NCP ParkPass Card and have an existing account?

I'm an existing NCP ParkPass Card customer using an NCP ParkPass Card. Can I use the same username, email and password to register a new account on the ParkPass App?

Yes. Your username, email and password can be the same.

How do I add or amend a SaverID to an app account?

You can add a SaverID to a new account at registration when prompted.

Why can’t I enjoy my Saver Deal rate using the app at Manchester car parks?

Our Manchester car parks have different technology and systems in them which don’t yet accept the app as a payment method. We’re working to resolve this.

Why is my SaverID not yet added to the app system?

We’ve just released a new version of the app which contains the SaverID functionality. We wanted to let you know that we’re now working on adding all the SaverID’s to the app system and yours is in the queue. We’re adding these on a frequent basis and we’ll write to you when yours has been added.

How do your offers work on the app?

App prices are based on the tariff board which varies for each car park. We designed the app to be able to offer you tailored promotions based on your parking behaviour, and promotion prices will be discounted off the tariff board. They may be a set price for parking at that car park e.g. park for £1 an hour or they may be a special product for a period of the day e.g. an Early Bird price cheaper than that on the tariff board.

When you pay by another method e.g. at the pay machine, you will be charged the tariff board price.

I'm an existing NCP ParkPass Card customer using an NCP ParkPass Card, how do I login to the ParkPass App?

I've got an existing NCP ParkPass Card account, if I register for a new ParkPass App account, does the introductory discount apply to my card?

No, the introductory discount is only applicable when you register for a new ParkPass App account is only valid for payment made with the app. Any new accounts on the ParkPass App operate completely separately from your existing NCP ParkPass Card account including any discounts you are eligible for. This also applies to any special SaverID rates which you currently enjoy using your NCP ParkPass Card i.e. they are not available on the ParkPass App at this time.

I have an NCP ParkPass Card account with a SaverID, can I use the ParkPass App account with my SaverID added instead of the Card?

You should add your SaverID to your app account once we’ve written to you advising you can do so. Then you should use your ParkPass App to pay for parking at any participating car park on the app, including the location(s) where your Saver Deal is accepted. This way you’ll always get the best price for your parking.

I’ve added my SaverID to my app account. Should I dispose of my NCP ParkPass Card now?

You should keep your NCP ParkPass Card in a safe place for the time being. You should use the app to pay for your parking once your SaverID is added, except for parking in Manchester car parks where the app is not accepted. If you want to park in Manchester, please use your NCP ParkPass Card.

Do I have to register for a ParkPass App account to enjoy my Saver Deal?

If your Saver Deal applies to a car park based in Manchester you'll need to add your SaverID to your NCP ParkPass Card account only. For all other car park locations, simply add your SaverID into your ParkPass App account to enjoy your special deal.
