Royal Albert Hall parking

CarCoupleThe world-famous concert venue in London’s South Kensington area is probably best known for its summer Proms series, performed each year since 1941. The Royal Albert Hall has a capacity of 5,272 seats, hosting hundreds of events each year including classical, rock and pop concerts, ballet, opera, award ceremonies and banquets.

When Queen Victoria opened the Albert Hall in 1871, the acoustics were so bad engineers had to install a huge canvas awning below the dome to reduce the echo. The problem wasn’t entirely solved until 1969.

Royal Albert Hall Parking

Driving into London head for Central London and Kensington. The Royal Albert Hall is located close to Kensington Gardens, Hyde Park and South Kensington’s museums.

Like much of Central London, the Kensington area does not have many good places to park, but NCP offers some of the best car parks for the Albert Hall.
