Who’s eligible for the £5 for 24 hours parking offer and how can I access this offer?
This offer is available to any customer needing to park at one of our participating car parks
The offer ensures the maximum amount you’ll pay for a single parking stay of no more than 24 hours is £5. So if the amount you’re due to pay is less than £5, and your parking stay is for less than 24 hours, you’d only pay the lowest standard tariff applicable at the car park i.e if 2 hours of parking costs £2, you only pay £2.
If you’re parking at one of our selected barrier car parks, use the NCP ParkPass App to scan your QR code on arrival and exit at the car park.
If you’re parking at one of our selected Pay & Display car parks, the £5 for 24 hours parking offer is ONLY available when you pay using the ParkPass App. If you choose to pay using your credit/debit card, you’ll be charged the standard tariff applicable to that car park and if your parking stay would cost more than £5 you’ll be charged this higher amount.
To avoid paying more than £5 for a 24-hour parking stay at barrier and Pay & Display car parks, we recommend that before you arrive in the car park you download our free NCP ParkPass App. Registering for an account is easy and only takes a few minutes and your account will be live and active for use immediately once completed. Download the ParkPass App now via the Google Play Store and Apple Store – search for NCP ParkPass App.
If you’re parking at one of our selected barrier car parks in Manchester, you’ll now need to pre-book to get our £5 for 24 hours parking offer. You’ll find details of where the offer is available and the terms and conditions which apply below.
If you’re a business interested in finding out more about the £5 offer and other parking offers that NCP has available, email [email protected] with your contact and business details and an outline of what you’re looking for and one of our Commercial team will get back in touch.

5 - What happens if I lose my ticket after entering a car park, can I still have this special price?
Please contact our Customer Services team for assistance
6 - Do I have to park at certain car parks to get this deal?
Yes, you’ll find a full list of the participating car parks on this page
7 - Why are you charging for your car parks? Many of them were free previously
Unfortunately, for economic reasons and in response to landlord requests, we’re having to reopen as many car parks (on as close to a business as usual basis) as possible with our available staff. This new £5 for 24 hours parking offer is the lowest tariff we can offer currently and we’ll be reviewing on a weekly basis usage of this offer at our car parks to ensure we can understand how we can continue to support this competitive offer for as long as possible
8 - You’re advertising certain car parks to be free for NHS workers, I don’t work for the NHS, does that mean I can’t park at those car parks?
No, you can park at these car parks as well and the £5 for 24 hours parking offer will apply
9 - Can I enter and exit as many times as I want within 24 hours and only pay £5?
No, the £5 for 24 hours parking applies to a single visit
10 - Why aren’t all of your car parks open now?
Some car parks will remain closed in response to a request from a landlord to close it or for other operational and business reasons
11 - How long is this offer on for?
We’re committed to reviewing the availability of this offer on a weekly basis and will monitor and review usage of the car parks and this offer to ensure we understand how we can continue to offer this or what (if any) changes are needed

No, please check the table for a list of locations where this offer applies
13 - Is it possible to pay the £5 for 24 hours tariff at Croydon Whitgift car park at the pay machines?
Yes, you can do this when before you leave the car park. If you choose to pay with PayByPhone you’ll need to pay for parking when you arrive at the car park.
14 - What social distancing measures will be in place in your car parks, especially at the pay machines?

22 - How do I get a refund on my season ticket as this price is a lot lower than what I pay for my season ticket?
This offer is for a limited time period, so by retaining your current season ticket, you’ll benefit over the longer period.
23 - What’s the catch? £5 is very cheap, especially for your London car parks. Why are you doing this?
We’d liked to have kept our car parks free however, in these unprecedented times, there are significant demands on our business which means this isn’t possible. For economic reasons and in response to landlord requests, we urgently need to reopen as many car parks (on as close to a business as usual basis) as possible with our available staff. So we’ll be charging a minimal rate for as long as we are able to. We hope this goes someway to help our customers.
24 - What if I buy a ticket in your P&D car park from a machine but need to extend the time taking me over £5, how does that work?
If you think you may over run, we recommend you purchase the 24 hour rate for £5 using either the ParkPass App or PaybyPhone
25 - I don’t have a credit or debit card, how do I pay for my parking?
You’ll need your card details to be able to pay for parking, so please contact someone who can provide them to you
26 - I want to complain as I received a PCN for parking at your car park, but when I arrived it was free to park and since 21 April its not. How can I appeal?
If you wish to appeal against a Parking Charge Notice (PCN) as you feel it has been issued incorrectly, please appeal by sending an email to: [email protected] (include your PCN reference number), or by following the appeal information on the back of the PCN explaining your reasons for appeal. Our enforcement team will attempt to respond as soon as possible but certainly within 14 days.
