Fraudulent Emails: How to tell if an email is really from NCP?

We’re aware fraudulent emails have been sent to a number of recipients, including some NCP customers.

These emails pretend to be from NCP and attempt to take payment for money which is not owed for Penalty Charge Notices (PCNs).

NCP’s databases are secure and have not been compromised in any way. The email addresses involved have not been taken from NCP’s databases.

The scam email looks like this:

Fraudulent PCN

NCP does not send initial Parking Charge Notices by email.

We are taking this very seriously and are working hard to find the source of these emails and to take down the fraudulent site that they link to.

If you’re suspicious an email is not authentic, do not click any links in it. Instead contact NCP directly.
