Nottingham City car park re-opening

We fully re-opened Nottingham Mount Street on 7 May 2018

NCP Nottingham Mount Street was fully re-opened to the public on Monday 7 May 2018, after undergoing a comprehensive refurbishment.

Through the support of its new owners, Park24 and Development Bank of Japan, NCP has invested over £1.8 million in structural works following the closure last year. NCP has also used this time to carry out extensive redecoration works including newly recoated floor decks with large, wider parking bays, a complete refresh of the pedestrian stairwell, lift refurbishments and enhanced lighting and signage.

We’ve introduced two new rates to coincide with the full re-opening:

  • Shopper rate - £4 for up to 5 hours of parking for any parking sessions starting between the hours of 1000 to 1459, seven days a week
  • Early Bird rate - £6 all day parking for customers arriving between 0600 and 0859 and leaving before midnight the same day

Brian Devonshire, Head of Operations for NCP commented, “I am totally delighted to re-open this site to our customers. We understand it has been closed for a prolonged period of time and we apologise for the inconvenience that has caused, but we really wanted to make sure that we could re-open with a car park that we, as a company, are totally proud of. We have made a considerable investment into our car park in such a key city as Nottingham and we are so proud with what we have achieved in this building.

“Our new shopper rate and Early Bird tariff is also our way of saying thank you to everyone for understanding that this was a project we were not going to rush, and has meant that we have now ended up with a car park that will serve Nottingham well as people who arrive in the city centre to work, and to enjoy all the city has to offer.”
