What is a cashless payment?

Cashless payments are ways of paying for parking at our car parks that don't involve putting notes or coins into a machine.

Cashless payments include the following:

Card payments and contactless card payments by using your card by chip and pin or tapping to use a contactless payment where possible. 

Digital wallet apps such as Apple Pay, Google Pay and other methods using a similar tap to pay method as contacless cards. 

Parking mobile payment apps by using parking specific apps to pay for your parking such as PayByPhone where you would enter your registration, card details and a location number into the application to pay for your parking. 

Online payments. At some of our rail sites such as London Underground and Greater Anglia you may be able to pay online via a third party. Please check signs at these locations for instructions.

NCP ParkPass App. This is our mobile payment option. Once registered you can use your ParkPass App at 250 locations nationwide. Scan on entrance and exit of barrier sites or search by location to pay at Pay and Display sites.

NCP ParkPass Card. This is our account based payment option. Once signed up you can use your NCP ParkPass card to enter and exit participating car parks and your account is automatically charged for your parking. 

ParkPass App Maintenance

On Friday 22 January from 20:00, we'll be carrying out some maintenance work on our ParkPass App online customer account portal and our ParkPass App which may take several hours to complete. During this time, some features of your online account and App might not work as expected, so we recommend not logging into your account or using the App if at all possible.

Any live parking sessions within the App could be affected while we’re making changes, so if you experience a problem please contact our Customer Services Team on 0345 050 7080 for assistance. Lines are open 24/7.
