London Lanark Road
Lined with Edwardian townhouses and bordered by the Thames, Maida Vale hasn’t had to work too hard to earn the nickname, ‘Little Venice’. The streets have a distinctly Italianate feel to them, with narrow, winding passages breaking open into small parades of shops, with furniture from al fresco cafés dotting the pavements and family-run restaurants housed in beautiful buildings. Maida Vale is one of the few areas of London with a genuine ‘neighbourhood’ feel to it and you can easily spend an hour or two celeb-spotting. The London Lanark Road NCP car park is tucked away on a quiet street, just a stone’s throw from Lord’s Cricket Ground and the world-famous Abbey Road Studios. Whether you’re visiting the area for business or pleasure, pre-booking a space at the London Lanark Road NCP is a great way to ensure you can park in London without worrying about tickets or feeding meters!
Little Venice and Warwick Avenue Parking
The part of Maida Vale that’s earned its Italian nickname is just north of Paddington. Look for the Thames and the myriad of quaint, characterful houseboats that are moored along there and you’ll have found Little Venice. If you’re feeling a little nautical, you can rent a boat and cruise up to Camden or, if that sounds too much like hard work, a trip to the Canal Museum will tell you all about the area’s history. Similarly, Warwick Avenue is an idyllic part of London, without the crowds and traffic that you might normally associate with the capital. However, parking in London is always problematic – unless you know where to go. The London Lanark Road NCP is a mere five-minute walk from Warwick Road tube and Little Venice, allowing you to explore at your leisure.
Lord’s Cricket Ground Parking
The most famous cricket ground in the world and widely hailed as the ‘home of cricket’, Lord’s Cricket Ground is little more than a 10-minute stroll from the London Lanark Road NCP. For fans of the sport, a visit here is an absolute must. If you aren’t lucky enough to be catching a match, you can see behind the scenes as part of a guided tour.
Maida Vale Area Parking
With the London Lanark Road NCP in the heart of Maida Vale, you won’t have far to go to explore what it has to offer. For gentle shopping, head to Clifton Road, which is like a miniature high street, with boutique stores, cafés, and gastropubs. If it’s time for some more hardcore retail therapy, the Whiteley’s shopping mall is the place to go.
