New London Theatre​

On the corner of Drury Lane is the New London Theatre, which is a fine example of modernist architecture. Designed by the architect Paul Tvrtkovic, it was completed in 1973 and has since put on a string of box office hits, musicals and plays.​

Royal Opera House​

Around the corner you'll find the Royal Opera House, which dominates Covent Garden. This Grade I listed building has seen many changes over the years since its original conception in 1808, and has been rebuilt three times. The Royal Opera House as we know it now combines the Royal Opera and Royal Ballet, and puts on frequent performances throughout the year, including the world famous annual performance of Tchaikovsky’s ‘Nutcracker’ ballet at Christmas time. It's tough to find a parking space during the festive season, so beat the crowds and pre-book your space, giving you plenty of time to get to your seat before Curtain Up.
