There are no height restrictions at the Cardiff Official Long Stay 1 car park. For disabled travellers, you’ll find a Special Assistance Call point and a dedicated sheltered area. Car park address
You should leave the M4 at junction 29 and join the A48 (M) sign posted Cardiff airport. Continue to follow the signs for Cardiff Airport. At the roundabout on Port Road West (A4226) take the first exit onto Port Road, its sign posted Cardiff Airport. At the roundabout take the third exit signposted Terminal, Business Park.
Long Stay Car Park 1 is located to the west of the terminal. You can walk to the terminal buildings in just two-to-five minutes.
Please be aware that there are no blue badge facilities at Long Stay 1.
Long Stay Car Park 2 is located to the north of the terminal, next to the short stay car park.
This car park uses number plate recognition technology. This means you must arrive in the car you registered in your booking. When you arrive at the entry barrier, the cameras read your number plate and the barrier will raise. Please do not take a ticket. If the barrier does not raise, please press the assistance button and our customer service team will help you.
Leaving the car park
At the exit barrier, the cameras will read your number plate and we’ll validate your stay. Once the technology confirms your booking, the barrier will raise, this should only take a few minutes. If the barrier doesn't raise, please press the assistance button and our customer service team will help you.
If you stay past the times you specified in your booking, unfortunately you will be liable for an additional charge. The amount you’ll be charged will be based on the calculated difference tracked by our ANPR cameras and will display on the screen by the exit barrier. This additional charge can be paid by debit or credit card at the barrier and the barrier will raise once payment has been taken. If you arrive at the exit barrier and it doesn’t raise or the barrier arm is already raised, please press the assistance button to speak to the on site customer Services Team. The team will then be able to register your exit from the car park. This will prevent any additional charges being applied to your booking.
